Bandhani Silk Scarf

$ 185.00

Injiri, meaning "real India", reflects Chinar Farooqui's passion for the nation's textile traditions. As the founder and designer of Injiri, Farooqui draws on the rich tradition of Bandhani, a venerable tie-dye technique from Western India to create the patterns on this scarf. Bandhani, one of the oldest tie-dye methods still in use, is a resist dyeing process with the fabric pinched and tied into tiny knots, revealing intricate, mosaic-like dot patterns when opened.
