Merletto Salad Plate
The Merletto Collection, meaning lace, is crafted using a delicate glaze over rich black clay. The pattern is created by handmade antique Italian lace, hand-pressed into the ceramic prior to the application of the glaze. The final finish is a creamy antique white adorned with subtle, grayish blue lace prints.
Many of our ceramic pieces are finished with distressing, drips, color variations and/or fine lines in the glaze. These qualities are intentional, and reflect the genuine hand-made quality of the piece.
