Merletto Salad Plate
The Merletto collection - named for lace - features a delicate glaze enveloping deep black clay. Each piece bears the imprint of vintage Italian lace, pressed by hand into the ceramic before glazing. The result is a soft, antique white adorned with ethereal, gray-blue lace patterns.
Many of our ceramic pieces are finished with distressing, drips, color variations and/or fine lines in the glaze. These qualities are intentional, and reflect the genuine hand-made quality of the piece.
