Sashiko Throw

In the eyes of the founder and designer of UNNU textiles, Jigisha Patel, the thousand-year-old technique of wool felting is a process akin to watercolor painting - from gently dyeing fibers while enhancing their natural colors, to layering and blending fibers to achieve a variety of effects, the unique quality of felting is used as a paint brush to portray the beauty of nature, art, and traditional textiles in India.

Made from a blend of fine lambs wool, eri silk, and cashmere, the Sashiko Throw is a medium-weight piece of textile, perfect as a coverlet for your bed or sofa. As a feature of the handmade process, the pattern, color, and size of each item may vary slightly.
