Editor's Note
DOUBLING THE LOVE

The gifts that we hold dear are those that come with their own stories. Holding them in the palm of your hand is like touching a piece of history. Using them is like connecting with a community we've never met across the ocean.

It just feels good to have the peace of mind knowing that they are created with minimal impact on the environment by well-treated artisans. It's doubling the love given and received, for whoever gives such a gift is actually giving back to our society at the same time.

In this issue, we are highlighting a creative design house, a fast-growing startup company, and a non-profit organization with projects taking place around the world. All of these groups support underprivileged artisans to make stunning, innovative items for home decor, jewelry, and apparel, using craftsmanship that continue their local legacy and aesthetics, while at the same time blend seamlessly into modern urban lifestyle on the other side of the world.
