Sashiko Throw

To Jigisha Petal, the founder and designer of UNNU textiles, the thousand-year-old technique of wool felting is a process akin to watercolor painting. With gently dyed wool, cashmere and silk, she uses the unique quality of felting as a paint brush to portray the beauty of nature, art, and traditional textiles in India.

Made from a blend of fine lambs wool, eri silk, and cashmere, the Sashiko Throw is a piece of medium-weight textile, perfect as a coverlet for your bed or sofa. As a feature of the handmade process, the pattern, color, and size of each item may vary slightly.
